Day 1 : Bari arrival / Trani / Andria
Morning arrival at Bari airport. Meet the assistant and transfer for a private visit to “Bari vecchia” (“old Bari, the historical centre).
Transfer to Trani and lunch in an amazing restaurant which has won many awards for its seafood specialties. In early afternoon guided tour of the medieval Trani, known as the “Pearl of Puglia”. Visit to the historical center, with its traditional Renaissance architecture and the famous spectacular 13th Century Cathedrals, right on the sea water.
Move to a renowned winery in Andria for a wine tasting, then reach our Masseria and check-in.
Welcome dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Alberobello / Locorotondo / Ostuni
Breakfast. Transfer for a visit to Alberobello, the trulloes capitol of Puglia recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Site. Trulloes are unique to Puglia and these mysterious buildings, with thick limestone walls and graceful conical roofs, originated hundreds of years ago.
Move to Locorotondo and enjoy the famous “belvedere” (panoramic overview of the Itria Valley) and lunch, with meat tasting in a traditional “fornello”.
Afternoon visit to a cheese factory for a cheese making demonstration.Move to Ostuni for a guided tour in “the white village”, followed by dinner in an elegant Masseria.
Back home and overnight.
Day 3: Cisternino / Martina Franca / Ostuni
Breakfast. Transfer to Cisternino for a stroll in the historical district and coffee break on the terrace.
Move to Martina Franca for a guided visit to the Rococò village, followed by lunch in a renowned restaurant.
Back to the Masseria and time to relax. Hands-on cooking class followed by dinner.
Overnight.
Day 4: Lecce / Otranto
Breakfast and check-out. Transfer to Lecce and check-in at an elegant Resort, in the heart of Lecce. Guided tour in the Baroque city and lunch in typical “trattoria”.
In the afternoon transfer to Otranto for a guided visit of the most oriental town of Puglia, followed by dinner.
Back in hotel and overnight.
Day 5: Santa Maria di Cerrate/ Departure
Breakfast and check out.
Transfer to the near Santa Maria di Cerrate for a visit to the folk traditions Museum and then proceed for Brindisi airport for departure (according with flight departure).
Day 6: Gallipoli / Santa Maria di Leuca / Otranto (Salento’s Ionian and Adriatic Coast)
Day 7: Corigliano d'Otranto / Salice Salentino / Lecce
Afternoon guided visit of an ancient winery for a wine tasting, in Salice Salentino. Dinner in historical “masseria”
Overnight in Lecce.
